Preparation

With Feel Like A Pro, the "prep" work has already been done for you. Come well-rested, eat a good breakfast, and be ready to ride within your means. The Ninja 400 will give you a workout and teach you a lot about riding a motorcycle. Remember track day fees are in addition to your motorcycle rental.

You must bring all your riding gear, there is NO gear available for rent.

We supply you with a race-prepped Ninja 400 motorcycle with Pirelli race tires and a full tank of fuel, which we refill throughout the day. We handle all the maintenance and inspections too.

With Feel Like A Pro, all you have to do is arrive and ride! We will take care of the rest!

Do I need a license to rent a Feel Like A Pro motorcycle?

For track days you do not need a motorcycle license. We just ask you have some experience riding motorcycles before hitting the track.

For racing, you do need a racing license. Check out the Race Team page for more information.

Can I share the motorcycle with someone else?

No. If Feel Like A Pro observes any renter allowing another party to ride the motorcycle, the motorcycle will be immediately confiscated with no refunds.

Are the motorcycles safe and in good condition?

Feel Like A Pro motorcycles are expertly maintained by a Feel Like A Pro technician and will be presented to you in a clean, safe, 100% operational manner.

What if I crash a Feel Like A Pro Motorcycle?

Crashing is bad, but sometimes unavoidable. Usually, a crash will end your track experience for the day. You are financially responsible for 100% of the repair costs. Ninja 400s are lightweight motorcycles and crash with fairly minimal damage, so we do not anticipate heavy damage during crashes. Most damage will be limited to fiberglass repair and paint, footpegs, levers, handlebars, etc.

In the event of a minor spill, every effort will be made to get you back on track and enjoying your experience. Getting you back out may be as simple as replacing a lever, however, more serious damage will need a thorough safety inspection. If a crash is severe enough, and it is not possible to repair at the track, you will lose the use of the motorcycle for the remainder of the day or weekend. Please note that you will still be liable for rental fees.

Only qualified Feel Like A Pro personnel will be allowed to work on the motorcycle and give it the okay for safety.

Can I get insurance for the motorcycle?

Feel Like A Pro does NOT offer any motorcycle insurance. We do have optional protection plans available for purchase. The Ninja 400R protection plan is $150 and limits your liability to $1500 in crash repairs. Without the protection plan, you are responsible for 100% of the damages to the motorcycle.

Do you provide medical insurance?

Feel Like A Pro does NOT offer any medical insurance. You must have medical insurance to rent from Feel Like A Pro. It is your individual responsibility to ensure that you are adequately prepared for any medical costs associated with riding or crashing our bikes. Even a minor slip-up can send you to a medical facility. These little side trips can be really expensive, so be prepared!

Do you have safety gear for rent?

We do not rent gear any longer.

Can I cancel my reservation?

What other costs should I be prepared for?

Fees for your track day are in addition to your motorcycle rental. For more track day details, visit the specific track day provider's website.

Do I need a transponder?

Only if you are racing. All motorcycles participating in race events will need a transponder for timing and scoring purposes. Transponders are available for rent from the race organization or for sale from Speed Hive.

Can I rent a motorcycle as a "walk-up" customer?

Walk-ups are "first come first served" based on availability. We may have motorcycle rentals available for "walk-ups", however, it is very unlikely. Reserve your motorcycle early to ensure you have a ride for your track day or race.

What about tech inspection?

At most of our events, the technical inspections are taken care of for you. There is usually no need to push a Feel Like A Pro motorcycle through the tech line. On some rare occasions, you may have to go through tech but rest assured, your motorcycle has already been checked over and it should just be a quick check by the track day providers staff. If there is ever an issue with your motorcycle please be sure to bring it to our attention so we can correct it immediately.

Will you be at every event on your schedule?

If we have an advanced reservation we WILL be there. If there are no advance reservations, we reserve the right not to attend the event. So, if you have a date you want to ride a Feel Like A Pro Ninja 400, be sure to reserve in advance.
